Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide), a college preparatory public school serving grades 5-12, has opened the Annual Enrollment Period for the 2023-2024 school year from Tuesday, November 1, 2022, through Thursday, February 9, 2023. Rising Tide is currently accepting applications for enrollment for grades 5-11 for the 2023-2024 school year. Enrollment applications are due by Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.
All applicants, including siblings of current students, must submit the one-page application by the deadline to be eligible for enrollment. The application is available both online and through a paper form. Applications are also available at the Main Office of the school. Completed paper applications can be faxed to (508) 747-1826, emailed to mjackson@risingtide.org, mailed, or dropped off to the front desk. If there are more eligible applicants than available spaces, the school will hold an Annual Enrollment Lottery. The Annual Enrollment Lottery will be conducted in a public forum at the school, and has been scheduled on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
Rising Tide will host four enrollment open houses on the following dates:
November 30, 2022 at 6:30 pm
December 3, 2022 at 9:00 am
January 21, 2023 at 9:00 am
February 1, 2023 at 6:30 pm
Families of students entering grades 5 to 11 are invited to attend
an open house and learn about the school’s curriculum, meet staff and faculty,
and visit classrooms on student-led tours of the school.
Bus transportation
is available for all students who reside within Rising Tide’s designated
region, which includes 20 towns. As a public school, Rising
Tide is tuition-free and open to all students who reside in the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts. In admitting students, Rising Tide does not discriminate on the
basis of race, color, national origin, creed or religion, sex, gender identity,
ethnicity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry,
athletic performance, special need, proficiency in the English language or in a
foreign language, or prior academic achievement.
