travel program

Rising Tide offers students travel opportunities so they can immerse themselves in other languages and cultures. Each year, groups of Grade 8 students and teachers travel to Italy, visiting many cities there, including Pompeii and Rome. While in Italy, they learn about the history and culture and enjoy visiting notable landmarks, such as the Gladiator Training School, the Colosseum, and St. Peter’s Basilica’s Dome.

Upper School students also have the opportunity to travel in order to broaden their knowledge of other cultures and expand their world view. Partaking in trips both within the United States and internationally, they visit such destinations as London, Spain, Peru, France, Germany, Mexico, The Galapagos Islands, and New York City. Studying world languages and traveling to other countries helps them to learn about diversity and prepare for living in a globalized world.
