Fifty-two students received their diplomas on Friday, June 6th from Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) during a commencement ceremony held at Plymouth Memorial Hall. Students and their families from 14 different South Shore and Cape Cod towns gathered to celebrate the students’ accomplishments.
Rising Tide senior, Francesca Gonzalez, opened the ceremony with the singing of The National Anthem. The students were welcomed by Christopher Schelleng, Chairman, Board of Trustees, and opening remarks were made by Michael O’Keefe, Head of School. Zahra Williams, Assistant Head of School and Upper School Principal, gave the principal’s address and introduced the class of 2025. Elise Perkins gave the student address. Graduates were awarded their diplomas by Christopher Schelleng, Michael O’Keefe, Zahra Williams, and Terri Carde, Upper School Assistant Principal.
