PLYMOUTH, MA (September 23, 2026)—Rising Tide is pleased to announce that it has been named a School of Recognition by the Massachusetts’ Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for the second year in a row. As a School of Recognition, Rising Tide has demonstrated high achievement, strong student growth, and consistent success in meeting state accountability targets.

Yesterday, DESE released a summary of the 2026 Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) testing results administered in public schools across the state. Results concluded that of the approximately 1,800 total public schools in the 2025-2026 school year, only 56 have been designated Schools of Recognition for high achievement and growth and meeting or exceeding targets. Rising Tide is proud to make that list again.

Rising Tide has, for the second consecutive year, ranked in the 91st percentile, placing it amongst the top 10% of public schools across Massachusetts.
