Sixty-four students received their diplomas on Friday, June 2nd from Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) during a commencement ceremony held on the school’s campus. Students and their families from 17 different South Shore towns gathered to celebrate the students’ accomplishments.
Rising Tide junior Sienna Picard opened the ceremony with the singing of The National Anthem. The students were welcomed by Christopher Schelleng, Chairman, Board of Trustees, and opening remarks were made by Michael O’Keefe, Head of School. Beth Choiniere, Upper School Principal, gave the principal’s address and introduced the class of 2023. Douglas Cunningham gave the student address. Graduates were awarded their diplomas by Christopher Schelleng and Michael O’Keefe.
