Rising Tide families were able to join an information session in June about Rising Tide’s plans for international trips next April 2022. If you were unable to join us, a recording of the session is available in two parts: the opening overview, which you can view here, and the details about both trips along with the Q&A, which you can view here. Information on itineraries, payment plans, and applications follows below. Please note that applications are not due until the fall, and that there is a separate application for current students and new students.
Next year, Rising Tide students in grades 8 and 9 will have the opportunity to travel to Italy over April vacation. Rising Tide has a strong relationship with our tour company,
WorldStrides, and we have kept in close contact with our representative there throughout the pandemic. We will follow guidance from DESE as well as local and international government agencies while traveling. Destination countries may require additional measures for entry, which may include vaccinations. Please keep in mind the following:
- All travelers will purchase an insurance policy for maximum flexibility.
- Depending on global conditions, the school could choose to change the destination or timeframe of the trip leading up to departure.
- Families can also choose to make a different decision than the school, though fees apply.
- We will follow standard safety protocols at all times.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Maureen Chapman
