Dear Rising Tide Families,
As I shared in an update on Friday, Rising Tide is shifting to a full, five day, Full In-Person Learning Model for grades 5-12 after April vacation.
Beginning on Monday, April 26, Rising Tide will implement a full, five-day, In-Person Learning Model for grades 5-12. Each Wednesday will be an in-person day of school, with a 12:00 p.m. dismissal, providing our teachers with critical collaborative and professional development time. With the shift to a Full In-Person Learning Model, we will be able to maintain consistency with our current full-day schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. For the final two months of school, families will still have the option to opt-out of the primary learning model and participate in school remotely.
Students who participate in the Full In-Person Learning Model will be expected to attend school every day of the week from April 26 through June 18. Students who temporarily need to stay home due to illness or quarantining will be able to participate remotely.
Please let us know, through the following form, if your child(ren) will participate in the Full In-Person Learning Model for the final two months of the school year, or if your child(ren) will opt-out of the Full In-Person Learning Model for the final two months and participate in school remotely. Please also let us know if your child(ren) will ride the bus. We ask for your help in our preparations by completing the form below by this Friday, March 19:
Additionally, if your child(ren) has(have) not been riding the bus to school, and you would like them to ride the bus from April 26 to June 18, 2021, please complete either the Plymouth Bus Application Form or the Regional Bus Form, available through the links below:
Thank you for your help with our preparations for the final months of the school year.
Sincerely,
Head of School
